This visa is designed for students who wish to undertake a course of study that does not lead to a degree, diploma or other formal award.  We can arrange everything from school placement to accommodation, airport transfers and your visa.

To qualify for a Non-award Student Visa, you must be able to satisfy the basic visa requirements. The basic visa criteria are;

Entitlements:

As the holder of a Non-Award Student Visa, you can:

• •    Study in Australia;
  •    Sponsor eligible dependent family members to accompany you to Australia;
  •    Apply for permission for you and your family members to work; and,
  •    Your spouse can study in Australia for up to three months.
  
  Note: If your spouse wants to study for more than three months they must apply for their own student visa. The application can be made in Australia.

Please note that while you can apply for a subsequent student visa to undertake another course of study, this type of study does not usually establish a pathway to Australian Skilled Migration or any other type of Australian Permanent Residency. Applicants for Australian Skilled Migration must hold formal qualifications. As a student on a non-award visa will not obtain a formal qualification they may not be eligible to apply for Skilled Migration. However, if they have previously obtained a diploma or degree they may meet the requirements for Australian Skilled Migration, in which case they would be permitted to apply.
