This Visa is designed for students who intend to undertake a Bachelor degree, Associate degree, Graduate certificate, Graduate diploma or Masters by coursework.  We can arrange everything from course selection/enrollment to student visas, accommodation and airport pick up.

Basic Requirements:

To qualify for a Higher Education Visa, you must be able to satisfy the basic visa requirements:

•    You are enrolled in a registered course;
•    You have adequate English language ability;
•    You have successfully completed year 12;
•    You have the financial means to support yourself; and,
•    You have appropriate private health insurance cover during your stay in Australia.  Health insurance can be               provided by obtaining Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) which provides medical and hospital insurance.
 

Higher Education Visa holders usually are permitted to apply for Australian Skilled Migration once they have successfully completed their course of study.

Entitlements:

As the holder of a Higher Education Visa, you can:

•    Study in Australia;
•    Sponsor eligible dependent family members to accompany you to Australia;
•    Apply for permission for you and your family members to work; and,
•    Your spouse can study in Australia for up to three months.

  Note: If your spouse wants to study for more than three months they must apply for their own student visa. The application can be made in Australia.

Please note that this type of visa can establish a pathway to Australian Skilled Migration. Provided you meet the criteria for the grante of an Australian Skilled Migration visa you can lodge an application in Australia. Graduating students who receive an offer of employment in Australia are also eligible to apply for a work visa.
