The Vocational Education and Training Student Visa is designed for students who intend to undertake a certificate I-IV (except ELICOS ), diploma, advanced diploma, vocational graduate certificate or a vocational graduate diploma.  We can arrange everything from school placement/enrollment to student visas, accommodation and airport pick up and in many instances you need not pay us a service fee. 

 

Australia's Vocational Education and Training (VET) system provides training to students, that is both practical, and career-oriented. Students can develop their own career path through a mix of study and practical work.

 

Basic Requirements:

 

To qualify for a Vocational Education and Training Visa, you must be able to satisfy the basic Visa requirements. The basic Visa criteria are:

•    that you are enrolled in a registered course;
•    you have adequate English language ability, you have the financial means to support yourself; and,
•    you have appropriate private health insurance cover during your stay in Australia.  Health insurance can be               provided by obtaining Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) which provides medical and hospital insurance.
 

In some instances, graduate level students may be permitted to apply for skilled migration once they have successfully completed their course of study.

 

Entitlements: 

As the holder of a Vocational Training Visa, you can:

•    Study in Australia;
•    Sponsor eligible dependent family members to accompany you to Australia;
•    Apply for permission for you and your family members to work; and,
•    Your spouse can study in Australia for up to three months.

  • Note: If your spouse wants to study for more than three months they must apply for their own student visa. The application can be made in Australia.
